The LIQUIDFIRE FISHING TEAM qualified for the SKA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP for the 4th consecutive year by placing in the top 20 in three divisions.

We finished 96th place out of 236 boats while fishing with three team members that had just begun to recover from a pneumonia virus. We had a 50# fish sky on the long bait on the first day but never hooked up. She simply cut the bait in half and never pulled any drag. WHAT A DRAG!

We competed well by finishing 52nd out of 176 boats fishing in the Open Class. We landed the 15th largest king 35.41#er, during the second day of competition. This fish was the 36th largest king mackerel caught out of 273 boats during the entire two-day tournament.

2004 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
We fished Division 1 as members of the High-Speed Woble Fishing Team when we placed 17th in the 23 & under division and 7th in Junior Angler.
2005 SKA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
We travled to Biloxi, MS to fish our first Southern Kingfish Association National Championship during our first year of competitive king mackerel tournament fishing. We caught a 23.12# king and finished in 77th place out of more than 100 teams that fished in the 23 & Under class.
